All tyres sold by Direct Tyres Limited are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against verifiable defects in materials or workmanship. Claims are inspected at our Park Road or Ngong Road branches and processed with the manufacturer.
What is covered
- Manufacturing defects such as sidewall bubbles, tread separation or bead failure not caused by impact or misuse.
- Premature, irregular wear directly attributable to a manufacturing fault (confirmed by inspection).
What is not covered
- Damage from road hazards (potholes, cuts, punctures, kerb impacts).
- Wear caused by under- or over-inflation, misalignment, overloading or unsuitable fitment.
- Tyres fitted, repaired or modified outside an authorised fitment centre.
- Cosmetic blemishes that do not affect performance or safety.
How to make a claim
- Bring the tyre and the original receipt or invoice to any Direct Tyres branch.
- Our technicians inspect the tyre and complete a claim report.
- The claim is forwarded to the manufacturer for adjudication.
- Approved claims are resolved by replacement, credit note or pro-rated refund based on remaining tread depth.
Timelines
Most inspections are completed the same day. Manufacturer adjudication typically takes 7 – 21 working days depending on the brand.
